BEDFORD & COUNTY AC
BACAC is one of the leading athletic clubs in the South and East of England & we cater for athletes of all ages and abilities. The club competes at the highest levels in Track & Field Athletics, Road Racing and Cross Country Running.
All sections of the club, men and women, young and old, are achieving success on the track, in the field, over the country and on the roads. Our home track is
Bedford International Athletics Stadium.
Young Athletes
Bedford & County AC has a large number of competitive and successful young athletes who are ably supported by our qualified coaches and our team managers.

Young athletes compete in 2 year age bands Under 13, Under 15 and Under 17. You can find details of how the age groups work under the competition tabs.
The club provides competition for Young Athletes in:
- Track & Field athletics
- National Youth Development League - Lower: U15 & U13
- Eastern Young Athletes League (U17, U15, U13)
In the National Youth Development Leagues the club is now competing with other Bedfordshire clubs as Team Bedford to give athletes the highest level competition possible.
Under 17’s & U20’s can also compete with the Senior Team in the Southern Athletics League if they are of sufficient standard and subject to Rule 107(4) & (5) of the UKA rules of competition, see the league rules.

- National & Regional Championships
Bedford & County AC also enter young athletes teams in
- the South of England and English National cross country championships
- the South of England and English National road relay championships and
- the English National cross country relay championships.
